Last night I was pulled over for the second time within the last three weeks by a Gilbert police officer. I used to joke that as a forty-something in a Prius, I would not have to worry about SB1070. But no más. In town, I drive like a little old lady going to church on Sunday morning, yet again I have a cop asking me why he pulled me over.
Why bother repealing the 14th Amendment or adding more laws. Cops can do whatever they want, when they want.

Only speeding ticket my mom ever got was, yes, on her way to church on a Sunday morning.
They got you again? Is Gilbert still a small-ish town? Do you think they have you picked out specifically because you are vocal on the issue? How is Arizona going to survive the avalanche of lawsuits and enforcement costs on these things?
LOL. The policemen said I had a broken tail light and let me off with a warning. The next day I went to replace it, and it was not broken and all my lights worked fine. Gilbert is small, but it's in the middle of Phoenix metropolitan. So I do not think they are targeting me for my comments. I think they are puling me over for being "suspicious." Gilbert is a very lilly white town. I think the threat of lawsuits is holding them back from any significant action besides traffic stops of course.
It was very interesting for me to read the blog. Thank you for it. I like such topics and anything connected to them. I definitely want to read more soon.
