What is Mexico?

I know big question. But it is not Colombia. But it does have problems.

But, what do Obama and Clinton know about Mexico? Not much, but that is no different from most presidents with a few surprising exceptions.

So what will the current administration do with Obama's recent comments that:

"Mexico is a great democracy, vibrant, with a growing economy," Obama told the newspaper. "And as a result, what is happening there can't be compared with what happened in Colombia 20 years ago."

Nice spin control, but how about some specifics?

some federal officials were now describing the drug activity there as a "commercial insurgency," and arguing for a strategy similar to those used to counter an insurgency.

WTF is a "commercial insurgency?" Well its sounds as if Obama agrees with Clinton. Duh!
