Maricopa County has 60 days to determine if at least 7,656 of 18,300 signatures belong to registered voters in Pearce's district. However, his supporters in Virginia and Colorado are seeking corporate funds to fight the recall. Interesting that his supporters within his district are NOT at the center of his defense.
Massachusetts opts out of Secure Communities.
Massachusetts, Illinois, and New York have informed President Obama that he better change his ways. All three state governors have opted out of the Secure Communities program, which is a fingerprint-sharing program that is central to the Obama administration’s immigration enforcement strategy. In many ways Obama is the wrong president to handle immigration issues and Latin America. He has chosen the wrong people for advise and seems to be running scared by trying to win over hardliners as opposed to appealing to his base which supports comprehensive immigration reform.

Didn't they teach Mexican History at Harvard? Where is John Womack when you need him.
