There are Latinos in Detroit

Alexi Lalas, a former mediocre defender, but nonetheless the pro-type of the current American defender is sick of Latino players. One of the most significant problems with the U.S. men's team and the women's team as well, is that its back-line players are all defensive specialists with little or no ball handling ability. They are a product of US club soccer whose focus is standing in line for five minutes before players have a chance to touch a ball briefly. Here are his comments:

But as a commentator Lalas is also a typical American ball player who like many of his generation have an underlying animosity towards Latino Americans who play fútbol. Ironically he was sitting next to then future head coach Jürgen Klinsmann when the following comments were made to Lalas's chagrin:

In Nacogdoches - the soccer nest of Clint Dempsey - many of the Latin@ kids won't play with the YSA kids because, frankly, they are too good to play with the white and black kids. My son's team that my wife coached got the "leftover" kids that didn't play with the other Latino boys and they were head and shoulders better than anybody else on my kid's team (yes, including my kid).

Lalas didn't say anything bad about Hispanics, he said it didn't matter--performance is what counts. he wasn't at all chagrined by Klinsmann's comments. This is why we're sick to death of "latinos". They lie. About everything. They whine. About Everything.

Dear Anonymous,
Thank you for your post. It's always heart inspiring to have a rationale discussion with the Aryan Nation.

If performance is what counted then Lalas would never have been on the national team. As I stated in my post, one of the most significant limitations of the national team is that the U.S. outside backs lack the ability to contribute to any type of attack. The reason starts at the middle class stand-in-line club level which continues to teach soccer in an American football manner and does emphasize creative play.

In conclusion, I didn't know I was whining, thank you for notifying me. But, you better get used to all the "whining" and all of the "lies" because more of us are coming.
